Client Background The Department of Education has the overall responsibility for the development of the Irish education system. It is involved in a broad range of activities including preparation, administering, legislation and formulating policies, setting standard and monitoring and evaluating programs in addition to maintenance and capital works projects. The Term Maintenance Contract(s) is for suitably qualified and experienced Building Contractors, including Specialist Works Areas (Mechanical and Electrical), to deliver upgrade, repair and construction works across multiple disciplines to a number of Primary, Post Primary and Special Schools.
Description: Tricon have delivered multiple projects under this term mainentnence on behalf of the DOE, works have included reconfiguration of existing classroom space into SEN spaces (special educational needs), fire remediation works and disability access works.
To Value to date: To date Tricon has delivered projects to a value in excess of €2 million euro.
