This project consisted of the complete strip-out of three existing classrooms, upgrading one home economics room, the conversion of one classroom into a fully operational commercial grade kitchen and canteen space and the conversion of the remaining classroom into a relaxation space.

Tricon engaged with the design team and the client (pre-contract) to identify possible value engineering opportunities that satisfied the design criteria, met the school’s functional requirements and fitted within the funding criteria.
The new facilities of some 600sqm, comprise of an eighty (90) seat canteen space, complete with commercial grade kitchen space, fully fitted home economics space with new fitted joinery, appliances and interactive teaching screens and large break-out/ relaxation space complete with an interactive learning space.
